Job Summary
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing material management and site inventory operations on renewable energy construction projects, ensuring materials are delivered and tracked according to project schedules. Key responsibilities include coordinating domestic and international transportation of materials, managing requisitions and purchase orders through the procurement system, and maintaining positive relationships with vendors and site teams. Candidates should have an associate degree in a related field or relevant experience, along with a strong understanding of inventory management processes and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Material Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred, or a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, material tracking, and auditing processes.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information to groups of 10+ people.
- Ability to work 50–60 hours per week on active project sites.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior inventory or logistics experience on industrial or commercial construction projects preferred.
- Experience with inventory or procurement software preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness and ability to relocate to project sites for the full duration of each assignment (typical project duration: 6–9 months).
