Job Summary
Logistics Coordinator responsible for planning and building efficient daily delivery routes for bulk fuel and cylinder exchange deliveries; serves as the primary contact for drivers, makes real-time routing adjustments, analyzes demand patterns, supports resource planning with Area Management, and ensures compliance with safety regulations. Requires 2+ years in logistics/dispatch, strong analytical and communication skills, experience with routing/dispatch software and fleet telematics, and knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations. Monday–Friday with potential weekends/overtime during peak seasons; Waterbury, CT based with on-site responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or dispatch operations (fuel/propane industry experience preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret performance data and demand trends
- Clear, professional communication with drivers, leadership, and cross-functional teams
- Proven problem-solving ability to identify risks, troubleshoot field issues, and implement preventive actions
- Experience with routing/dispatch software (e.g., ADDs or similar)
- Familiarity with fleet telematics and reporting tools (Samsara or similar, Power BI or similar)
- Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and applicable federal/state regulations for hazardous materials and fuel transport
- Availability Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work weekends or overtime as needed during peak seasons
