Job Summary
Coordinate steel product procurement, monitor inventory levels, and track shipments while designing truck routes across the country. Dispatch drivers within the TMW System, compile loads according to delivery dates and DOT regulations, and reroute to maximize efficiency. Build relationships with customers and carriers, solve transportation challenges in real time, and maintain accurate purchasing records in the ERP system. Assist the Product Manager with competitive pricing analysis and perform clerical tasks including data entry and issue resolution.
Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
