Job Summary
Manage the product life cycle by overseeing supply chain, warehousing, transportation, and inventory. Track shipments, negotiate freight rates, and reconcile discrepancies to optimize delivery efficiency and reduce costs. Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and clients to resolve fulfillment issues while ensuring compliance with global trade regulations, customs clearance, and export controls. Monitor stock levels, prepare shipping documentation, and lead audits to mitigate corporate risk. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related fields with 3–5+ years of trade compliance experience. Full-time position based in Chicago's Northwest suburbs with no sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics
- 3–5+ years of direct experience in trade compliance, customs brokerage
- Proficiency in enterprise software systems (e.g., SAP GTS, Oracle GTM)
- deep knowledge of Harmonized Tariff Schedules (HTS)
- Good understanding of U.S. export control regulations
- Good understanding of regional tax/VAT laws
