Job Summary
On-site Logistics Coordinator will serve as the liaison between the client’s automotive plant and internal operations, coordinating daily transportation and logistics activities, monitoring shipments, resolving real-time issues, tracking status, and ensuring compliance with client protocols and safety/transportation rules. The role requires collaboration with plant personnel, drivers, dispatch teams, and logistics staff, with a focus on on-time pickups and deliveries, documentation, load planning, and process improvements. Strong English, organizational skills, and experience in logistics or supply chain operations are essential; automotive industry experience is a plus. This position is on-site at the client’s automotive plant in San Luis Potosí, MX, with a fast-paced environment and opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced English skills
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field
- 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations (automotive industry experience is a strong asset)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced plant environment
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive issue-resolution
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills; familiarity with TMS or plant-based logistics systems is a plus
- Availability to work on-site at the client’s automotive plant
