Job Summary
Logistics Coordinator II coordinates and dispatches drivers, trucks, and containers to maximize capacity, balance cost and speed of response, and provide prompt, courteous service. Responsibilities include dispatching based on daily factors, handling same-day or next-day planning, preparing daily rosters to maximize asset utilization, tracking attendance and performance issues, adjusting routes in real time, resolving route problems, analyzing logistics data to improve efficiency, creating efficient route sequences, understanding missed pickups and service commitments, and ensuring compliance with safety and DOT regulations. Requires analytical and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and knowledge of bills of lading, manifests, and fleet assignment. Minimum of 2+ years in a dispatcher or customer-facing role; pay range $49,000–$67,300 with comprehensive benefits.
