Job Summary
Develop and increase profitable volume with existing and newly acquired shippers by building relationships with both new customers and carriers. Build loads, schedule pickup and delivery appointments, and update customer systems while calling carriers to inquire about lanes, equipment types, and quantities. Issue Com-checks, Quick pays, and support the accounting function, ensuring proper documentation is sent to Carrier Resources and contacting insurance companies for certificates of insurance. Update active load information into the ALC system for tracking and verify carrier information through online applications. Gain specific industry knowledge regarding product compatibility, shipping requirements, and temperature requirements.
