Job Summary
Ensure the on-time outbound flow of goods and materials by scheduling truckloads and LTL shipments, creating AWB and BOLs for FedEx, UPS, DHL, and other carriers, and loading outbound shipments with forklifts or cranes. Work with project managers and planners to prepare products for shipping, file EEIs, and create monthly shipping plans while tracking progress. Perform daily and monthly close-out activities, attend production meetings for shipment updates, and assist with shipping inquiries. Maintain accurate records for audits and follow standard operating procedures. Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma / GED
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- May be required to lift or push up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of warehouse management
- Related experience and/or training
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Access)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Crane and forklift experience preferred
- Experience with ERP / MRP systems such SAP preferred
- Previous experience with the online systems of FedEx, UPS and other carriers is desired
