Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary
Manage daily inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring compliance with FDA, USDA, FSMA, HACCP, and GMP requirements for all facility logistics. Serve as the primary contact for suppliers, carriers, and customers to optimize routes, resolve escalations, and prepare shipping documents including BOLs and customs paperwork. Coordinate cold chain transport to maintain product integrity, reconcile inventory variances in D365, and process freight claims for damages or refusals. Track facility-level freight costs, delays, and spoilage to identify cost-saving opportunities and support operational decisions. Requires a flexible schedule accommodating production cycles.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years in transportation or supply chain logistics
- Proficiency in ERP/WMS (Microsoft D365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated success in managing carrier relationships
- Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and delegation of projects
- Strong analytical skills, including modeling and analysis of data
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to foster a collaborative, team-oriented working environment
- Demonstrated record of initiative, problem solving and adaptability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Must have a flexible schedule which will accommodate various production schedules
