Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate fuel and oil deliveries by scheduling routes, liaising with suppliers and drivers, and tracking shipments via GPS to ensure timely, compliant distribution. Manage inventory levels across storage sites, monitor delivery progress, and communicate with customers to confirm orders and resolve issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory, evaluate driver performance, and address logistical challenges such as delays or misrouted shipments. Adhere to federal, state, and local DOT regulations regarding hazardous materials and environmental safety. Assist management with disciplinary decisions and ensure supply meets demand to prevent shortages.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management
- Experience in the fuel or related field
- Familiarity with fuel/Oil products
- Knowledge of transportation logistics
- Knowledge of related regulations
- Knowledge of safety standards
- Knowledge of DOT/Environmental Regulations
- Proficiency in logistics software
- Proficiency in tracking tools
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to handle multiple orders
- Ability to manage deadlines
- Ability to troubleshoot logistical issues
- Ability to resolve logistical issues efficiently

Desired Qualifications
