Job Summary
Logistics Coordinator to oversee shipping/receiving, inventory management, and warehouse coordination for control panel manufacturing. Responsibilities include managing shipments, inspecting and recording incoming materials, labeling and packing items, coordinating with carriers, maintaining inventory accuracy, collaborating with production and warehouse teams, adhering to safety protocols, keeping work area organized, and assisting with other warehouse tasks. Requires high school diploma/equivalent, shipping/receiving experience, familiarity with control-panel manufacturing, inventory software proficiency, strong attention to detail, excellent communication, ability to lift heavy objects, and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/evenings. Optional bonuses include wiring-diagram reading, assembly of control panels, and experience with hand tools.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in shipping and receiving procedures
- Familiarity with control panel manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in both a warehouse and manufacturing environment
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
- Experience with the assembly of electrical components into a control panel for industrial machines
- Experience with the assembly complex wiring layouts on control panels
- Experience using hand tools such as electric and manual screwdrivers, wire strippers, and crimpers
