Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate, track, and trace all shipping and handling requests with customers and suppliers while managing expectations and providing timely shipment updates. Assign shipments to internal business units, maintain a client database, and report weekly KPIs to clients and supervisors. Collaborate with the Customer Service Manager to deliver optimal transportation solutions and coordinate meetings with the VP of Sales to expand business relationships. This full-time role in Brampton, ON, requires 2+ years of trucking or dispatch experience, DOT knowledge, and strong MS Office skills. Join a team dedicated to delivering assets on time and on budget across dedicated loads, specialized hauls, and temperature-controlled goods.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively
- Demonstrated ability to actively manage multiple, concurrent projects
- Good command of MS Office (Excel and Word) with an ability to quickly learn new software
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of trucking industry and/or dispatch experience is an asset
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations preferred
- Positive attitude with good people skills
