Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate inbound/outbound freight, monitor daily priorities and transportation targets; negotiate rates with customers and 3PLs; communicate with brokers, carriers, and customers to resolve discrepancies; organize logistics activities including rate quotes, 3PL selection, tracking, and documentation such as PODs, BOLs, and carrier confirmations; proactively communicate service risks to customers and ensure on-time performance; require a Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Logistics/SCM/Business and 1+ year in Supply Chain/Transportation, familiarity with North American geography, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management and/or Business is required
- 1+ Year of experience in Supply Chain/Transportation industry is required
- Experience dealing with FTL shipments
- Familiarity with North American geography
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the aptitude to learn new software quickly
- Problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
