Job Summary
Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, ensuring premises, assets, and communication channels are utilized effectively. Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures, recruit and coordinate logistics staff according to availability, and supervise orders for raw materials and equipment. Communicate with suppliers, retailers, and customers to achieve profitable deals, plan and track final product shipments, and maintain accurate logs of warehouse stock and executed orders. Prepare accurate reports for upper management while performing other related duties as assigned. This role supports Eastland Food's 45-year legacy of bridging Asian flavors with American markets, offering bilingual (English/Spanish or Chinese) requirements and a team focused on direct communication and hard work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field
- Proven experience as logistics coordinator
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or Chinese
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in customer service will be appreciated
- Thai is preferred
