Job Summary
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time deliveries, serving as the primary internal expeditor between Purchasing, Shipping, Receiving, Production, and Sales. Prepare, review, and maintain Bills of Lading (BOLs) and shipping documentation while investigating and resolving UPS claims and freight-related issues. Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records using NetSuite ERP and assist with month-end inventory adjustments. Identify and resolve logistics issues to improve operational efficiency in a high-volume manufacturing setting. Full-time onsite role in Bloomingdale, IL, with an 8-hour Monday–Friday shift and competitive hourly pay ranging from $23.00 to $27.00.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Shipping, Receiving, Logistics, or Warehouse Operations
- Experience preparing and reviewing Bills of Lading (BOLs)
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Self and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working in a high-volume manufacturing setting
- Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the day
- Exposure to warehouse noise and varying temperatures
- Occasional overtime based on business needs
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual, Spanish and English
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience
