Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary
Manage daily inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring on-time delivery while coordinating cold chain logistics to maintain product integrity. Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, FSMA, HACCP, and GMP requirements for all facility shipments, monitoring adherence and escalating issues as needed. Serve as the primary logistics contact with suppliers, carriers, and customers, optimizing routes and resolving escalations. Prepare shipping documents including BOLs and customs paperwork, maintaining accuracy in Microsoft D365 ERP entries for inventory and production schedules. Review freight bills for damages and costs, process claims, and track facility-level freight costs, delays, and spoilage to identify cost-saving opportunities. Report supply chain inventory levels and expiration dates, interacting cross-functionally with QA, Planning, and Procurement. Requires 1-3 years in transportation or supply chain logistics, proficiency in ERP/WMS systems, and a flexible schedule accommodating various production times.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years in transportation or supply chain logistics
- Proficiency in ERP/WMS (Microsoft D365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated success in managing carrier relationships
- Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and delegation of projects
- Strong analytical skills, including modeling and analysis of data
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to foster a collaborative, team-oriented working environment
- Demonstrated record of initiative, problem solving and adaptability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Must have a flexible schedule which will accommodate various production schedules
