Job Summary
Ensure all product is delivered per client guidelines by tracking orders from pre-planning through project wrap-up and transmitting shipment information to customers. Create, update, and document processes while analyzing movements to suggest efficiency improvements and mitigate roadblocks for non-standard delivery requests. Direct team activities by establishing priorities, scheduling assignments, and providing guidance as the primary escalation point for first-level issues. Conduct peer mentoring and training for new hires and logistics coordinators. Report progress on project plans and maintain accountability for logistical aspects of the product life cycle.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and business-focused audiences
- Strong Data Analytical abilities – able to take large quantities of data and distill it into actionable outputs
- Strong Process Analytical abilities
- Excellent multi-tasking skills (this is a very fast-paced environment)
- Positive, outgoing customer focused with excellent customer service skills
- Comfortable and willing to work in a constantly changing environment, and able to work with minimal direction
- Strong administrative abilities
- Comfortable and familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Able to communicate with people at all levels of organizations, and many different personalities
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Logistics preferred
- 5+ years of experience working in Value Added Reseller or Warehousing environments preferred
- Knowledge or IT terminology is a plus
