Job Summary
Coordinate material deliveries and movement between fabricators and the Darlington New Nuclear Project site under the general direction of the JV Project Manager. Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal groups to establish inventory tracing and identify material demands early. Requisition project materials based on design requirements and generate Bills of Loading and other documentation for transportation. Maintain excellent relationships with project partners and report logistical planning and risks to leadership. Implement Joint Venture and Client policies while managing interfaces with all supporting stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Education to include a technical college diploma or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience
- Minimum 5 years construction/fabrication and subcontractor experience
- Ability to successfully contribute to a logistical project team
- Knowledge of all aspects of construction such as; technology, equipment, methods, trade agreements and jurisdiction, engineering, cost control, scheduling and safety requirements
- Good communication, organizational and supervisory skills
- Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to read and understand Cost Reports and Schedules
- Basic presentation skills
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
