Job Summary
Logistics Controller role within Air New Zealand's Christchurch Distribution Logistics team. You will receive, inspect, store and dispatch materials, support tool control activities, maintain compliance with airworthiness, safety and quality requirements, and deliver excellent service to internal customers while contributing ideas to improve processes and workflow efficiency. The position requires strong organisational skills, a valid NZ Driver Licence and a Fork-lift licence, the ability to work a rotating roster, and a background in warehousing/logistics or related environments is advantageous. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract (or secondment) with responsibilities across warehousing, inventory management, and ensuring materials and tools are available when needed in a highly regulated aviation setting.
Required Qualifications
- full New Zealand Driver Licence
- Fork-lift licence
- availability to work a rotating roster
- experience in warehousing, logistics, inventory management, engineering environments, or exposure to warehouse management systems (advantageous)
