Logistics Center Technician

Job Summary
Prepare shipments for postal or commercial conveyance by selecting appropriate containers, packing items safely, and using scan guns to receive and pick materials. Operate equipment including dollies, pallet jacks, forklifts, and company vehicles to load, unload, and deliver shipments while maintaining a secure facility. Inspect incoming and outgoing items for damages, verify quantities against work orders and purchase orders, and escalate discrepancies to leadership. Perform basic kitting and routine maintenance of the shipping area while following established departmental policies. This hands-on entry-level position supports team workload with moderate physical effort and occasional travel, requiring a valid driver's license with less than six points.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- demonstrated work experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
- Valid Driver's License
- less than 6 points on license to adhere to insurance requirements
