Job Summary
Logistics capacity-management role focused on carrier account management and ensuring reliable coverage for customer freight. Responsibilities include managing relationships with contract carriers, developing and organizing carrier profiles including relationship type, publishing dispatch contact info, communicating lanes and rates, actively acquiring new carriers, conducting regular outreach to carriers to assess relationship levels, establishing a cadence for approaching carrier bases when loads are available, following up with regular carriers, blasting emails to carriers for available equipment, posting loads on subscribed web load boards, outbound calling to secure coverage, setting performance expectations for carriers per load, using automated tracking as required by customers, participating in carrier performance reviews, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability, and contributing to a proactive, “All In to Win” approach to ensure freight is handled as expected. Other duties as assigned to support organizational objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent in education, paired with relevant professional experience.
