Job Summary
Logistics & Automation Engineering Specialist at Caterpillar leads automation and robotics integration within our global Wear & Maintenance Components Operations. Drives improvements in global material flow, supports warehouse and ASRS design, standardizes packaging/dunnage, optimizes WIP and inventory, and develops scalable automation standards. Design, install, and validate electrical systems and controls architectures; develop equipment specifications; manage cross-functional engineering projects with scope, timelines, and budgets; leverage production data for quality and process improvements; travel up to 30% and work onsite in Peoria, IL. Requires a degree in Engineering/CS/Materials Science or equivalent experience; relocation assistance available; visa sponsorship not offered.
