Job Summary
Logistics Associate responsible for end-to-end transportation and fleet coordination across Tanzania operations. Duties include coordinating dispatch to shops and warehouses, ensuring on-time and in-full deliveries (OTIF), tracking shipments with third-party transporters, scheduling between warehouse teams and providers, monitoring lead times and addressing delays, overseeing fleet servicing and compliance, managing transporter performance and contracts, and preparing weekly/monthly logistics reports. Requires coordinating with procurement/finance for transporter contracts, experience with ERP systems (preferably S4HANA), strong data-management skills in Excel, and ability to drive cost- and efficiency-focused improvements in logistics and distribution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation and Logistics, Statistics, or any Finance Related Field
- 2-3 years’ working experience in Transportation & Logistics management, SCM or related field
- Knowledge and working experience with a robust ERP system preferably S4HANA
- Ability to work with large volumes of data in Excel
- Proficient communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to multi-task and handle priorities effectively
