Job Summary
Logistics Associate I ships and receives materials, manages outbound/inbound shipments, and maintains inventory accuracy in a shipping/receiving environment. Responsibilities include accurate shipping with ShipConsole or Oracle EBS, processing shipping paperwork, labeling, handling HAZMAT as needed, verifying inbound material, and maintaining ISO-compliant procedures for domestic and international shipments. The role involves picking, packing, and delivering materials, contributing to discrepancy resolution in Oracle EBS and Apex, supporting production needs, mentoring staff on safety and processes, and potentially leading Continuous Improvement tasks. The position requires strong communication, independent work, and the ability to operate in a manufacturing setting with safety and quality standards, regular on-site attendance, and flexibility for overtime or different shift patterns.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of Logistics experience
- Knowledge of material moving equipment (pallet jacks, dollies, handheld scanners)
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); advanced Oracle and Apex logistics transactions
- PIT and MEWP certification (Firearms Division only)
- DOT-HazMat and related training ( Ammo Division only)
- Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written form
- Ability to work independently and in a team; 5S standards experience
- Occasional overtime or alternate shifts as needed
- Ability to stand for long periods; lift up to 40 pounds
