Job Summary
Pick and stage materials for production under Warehouse Lead direction, accurately pulling parts from tickets and maintaining computerized inventory control records. Safely operate warehouse equipment including cherry pickers and forklifts, while assisting in physical inventories and cycle counts to confirm accuracy. Transport parts via box truck, requiring a valid MVR, DOT physical, and defensive driver class. Communicate part discrepancies to leadership and perform cleaning and maintenance duties as directed. Stand for six to eight hours daily while lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- GED or High School Diploma
- Proficient understanding of basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- At least 6 months experience operating a forklift or reach truck
- Possess strong interpersonal and customer relation skills
- Working knowledge of MRP or ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to be flexible to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines
- Must pass background check and drug test
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Requires bending, stooping, and standing
- Must be able to stand from six (6) to eight (8) hours per day
- Good visual and spatial perception
- Follow established safety policies including, but not limited to, mobile equipment, PPE, emergency response, HAZCOM, first-aid response, etc
- Forklift and Crane Operation (after training)
- Operates/Drives box truck for parts transport and pickup (Will require MVR-Motor Vehicle Record check, DOT Physical, and Defensive Driver Class)
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year of warehouse experience preferred
