Logistics Associate, Forklift Operator - Afternoon Shift

Job Summary
Manually pick full-case orders, stack them onto pallets using a scanner, and ensure proper staging and identification. Operate various equipment including manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and propane lifts to move pallets. Verify quantities, quality, and labeling against packing lists and SAP, then examine packaging for conformance to customer specifications. Coordinate with customer service, production, and shipping departments for box assembly, label preparation, and trailer loading. Identify quantity discrepancies and communicate promptly with supervisors while maintaining 5S cleanliness and adhering to all safety and warehouse procedures. Work the afternoon shift from 2:30pm to 11:00pm in Mississauga, with occasional day shift requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 3 years logistics experience
- 3 years reach lift fork truck experience
- Fork truck certification or ability to be certified
- Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to follow both written and verbal directions
- Candidate must reside in: Greater Toronto Area
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
- Must be able to properly utilize a manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, reach lift and/or sit-down forklift
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment performing shipping and/or receiving responsibilities
- A minimal level of analytical ability
- Strong communication skills
