Logistics and Warehousing Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee daily warehouse operations at Thacker Pass, managing MRO stores, chemical reagents, and finished goods inventory while maintaining accuracy across bulk storage systems. Lead inbound and outbound logistics, coordinating carrier management, export documentation, and third-party transload operations to ensure safe material movement. Conduct cycle counts, resolve discrepancies, and optimize min/max levels in collaboration with Supply Chain and Maintenance teams. Direct workforce planning, training, and safety leadership for warehouse and logistics personnel, enforcing compliance with DOT, hazardous materials, and environmental regulations. Implement continuous improvement strategies for material flow and operational efficiency within SAP and logistics systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain operations
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a supervisory, lead, or team leadership role
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and operational excellence
- Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Working knowledge of transportation operations, carrier management, freight coordination, inventory management, and applicable regulatory requirements, including hazardous materials transportation
- Experience with export logistics, transload operations, terminal management, and coordination with third-party logistics providers
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred), transportation management systems (TMS), and other inventory or logistics management tools
- Occasional travel to other LAC offices, project sites, vendor locations, or other locations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale industrial operations, including construction, commissioning, start-up, or operational readiness activities
- Experience in mining, chemical processing, manufacturing, or other asset-intensive industries
