Job Summary
Logistics and Shipping Administration and Support role responsible for administrating shipping department functions, preparing shipping documents, creating reports on shipments, loading/unloading freight, and carrier management. Duties include choosing carriers, printing documents for LTL and FTL, creating rate confirmation sheets and Bills of Lading, generating international shipping documents, ensuring proper packaging, and collaborating with other departments to resolve issues. Requires data analysis skills, strong communication, quick learning of software systems, and forklift/tractor experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Data analysis experience/detail oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pick up concepts quickly and quickly learn the use of software systems
- Experience operating forklifts and tractors preferred
