Job Summary
Track, safeguard, and maintain company assets through proper documentation of incoming and outgoing capital equipment. Monitor inventory levels, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile physical counts to computer-generated reports. Receive shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, inspect for damage, and enter receiving data into warehouse management systems. Label, sort, and store materials in designated locations while maintaining organized warehouse areas. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to support efficient warehouse operations. Coordinate with purchasing and inventory control teams regarding shipment status and discrepancies. Prepare receiving documentation and records while following all safety procedures and regulatory requirements. Perform light maintenance tasks including climbing ladders and lifting 50lbs. Assist with cycle counts and stock audits as needed. This role supports the facilities team and ensures warehouse functionality within a mission-focused ISR and AI organization.
Required Qualifications
- Warehouse or inventory experience
- Experience in light manufacturing or warehouse equipment
- Experience in receiving and warehouse operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to obtain government clearance
- Must be able to complete light maintenance tasks such as climbing a ladder and lifting 50lbs
- Ability to safely operate a forklift
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Ability to work in warehouse environments that may include varying temperatures and noise levels
- Manual dexterity required for handling materials and operating equipment
- Travel: Less than 5% to satellite offices (Lowell, MA and Virginia Beach, VA)
- US Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Domestic shipping and receiving experience
- Active secret clearance
- Understanding of operations of forklifts
- Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
