Logistics and Distribution Analyst

Job Summary
Logistics and Distribution Analyst responsible for managing and optimizing global logistics, 3PL relationships, and international fulfilment. You will lead shipment planning, negotiate with brokers and carriers, oversee ERP/system integrations, develop SOPs, track KPIs and dashboards, ensure customs and trade compliance, and support new market entries. Requires strong analytical ability, ERP experience, project management, and familiarity with cGMP/regulatory environments; BA/BS in a relevant field with APICS certification preferred; medical device industry experience highly valued. You’ll collaborate across Sales, Technical Support, and internal teams to drive cost reductions, service improvements, and scalable global distribution, while maintaining compliance with privacy, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements. This role emphasizes independent, strategic contributions within a global team and offers opportunities to influence global logistics strategy and supplier partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Procurement, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- APICS certification preferred
- Medical device industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience managing global transportation, third-party logistics providers, and international trade compliance
- Experience in logistics, distribution, supply chain management, or related fields (e.g. demand or supply planning)
- Experience working in cGMP-regulated environments required
- Strong understanding of global shipping concepts including inbound/outbound logistics and INCOTERMS
- ERP proficiency for scheduling, inventory control, and shipping processes
- Demonstrated change-management capability in fast-paced environments
- Project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team
- Strategic mindset with analytical and research skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint for reporting and presentations
