Job Summary
Logistics Analyst responsible for developing and implementing logistics strategies that optimize international transportation, production, distribution, and finished goods inventory across global markets. Role includes creating delivery documents to freight forwarders and customers, allocating inventory to orders, generating and distributing metrics, coordinating logistics with internal/external customers, managing PO processes, and serving as the main SME for international logistics. Requires collaboration with planning groups, monitoring service targets, and driving supply chain improvements. Travel ~5% and hybrid work in Buffalo, NY. Must have a Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years in international logistics or customer service; strong data analysis skills; proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, and SAP.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics or related field with 2 to 3 years of experience in international logistics or customer service
- Demonstrated ability in data analysis to include interpretation, identification of trends and recommendations for action
- Demonstrated understanding and coordination of production schedules and inventory deployment
- Solid communication skills to include verbal and written capabilities
- Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SAP knowledge
- Travel 5% of the time
