Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee drivers, trucks, and containers to create capacity, maximize productivity, and ensure prompt, courteous and efficient service to customers. Analyze daily routing information, respond to same-day changes and plan for next-day needs to improve route efficiency and accuracy. Ensure routes close on time, evaluate driver performance, manage safety and security of assets, and create optimized routes with maximum capacity while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Proficient use of routing systems, data interpretation of inventory and asset reliability, and effective communication with drivers to address misses, delays, and service commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in a customer-facing position
- Two years of prior experience working in a Dispatcher or similar leadership role preferred
