Job Summary
The Logistics Analyst is responsible for utilizing analytical methods and tools to understand and manage logistics operations. Key responsibilities include analyzing performance, monitoring shipment details, managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and preparing reports on metrics and inventory levels. This role requires a strong ability to identify issues, develop recommendations, and work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent with significant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience, along with proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 6-12 years of experience or BS/BA with 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Military experience is desirable
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer and software/hardware systems
- Bilingual: fluent in English and Spanish
- Experience in logistics, transportation and/or supply
