Logistics Analyst (1 year contract)

Job Summary
Manage carrier on-boarding, compliance monitoring, and tracking for inbound and outbound domestic and international shipping. Support Operations, Sales, Procurement, and end customers by managing expedite requests, problem-solving, and communicating key performance indicators. Execute process improvement projects to reduce costs and increase speed while training staff on the Transportation Management System and freight quoting. Collaborate cross-functionally with purchasing and project teams to optimize supply chain efficiency. May assist with customer order quotations for freight estimates. Requires a diploma in logistics or supply chain management and 2-3 years of experience in a large manufacturing setting. Travel up to 10% as requested.
Required Qualifications
- Contract/ Temporary position
- Diploma in Art, in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or other appropriate discipline
- 2-3 years of experience
- Experience in logistics, supply chain management or related discipline
- Experience in a strategic setting in a large manufacturing organization
- Ability to travel, as requested
- Up to 10% travel time
