Job Summary
Manage tariff management for Section 301 and reciprocal tariffs, oversee C-TPAT trade compliance and security, and handle export compliance. Communicate with internal and external parties including CBP and customs brokers while researching and implementing cost savings activities. Monitor audit activities, assist customs operations, and administer functions such as presentations, planning, budgeting, and reporting. Work independently to provide creative solutions to difficult issues and assist in developing policies and procedures. This role requires a Customs Broker License and 7 years of related experience. The position offers a hybrid schedule with three days in the office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 7 years of related experience
- Customs Broker License
- Experience with Drawback
- Experience with Foreign Trade Zones
- Experience with First Sales
- Knowledge of BIS regulations
- Knowledge of OFAC regulations
- Experience with Customs Operations
- Experience with ACH
- Strong written communication skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Tariff Management experience involving Section 301, Reciprocal Tariffs, and all other related tariffs
- C-TPAT Trade Compliance experience
- C-TPAT Security experience
- Export Compliance experience
- Experience communicating with internal and external parties including CBP and Customs Brokers
- Experience researching and implementing Cost Savings Activities
- Experience implementing and monitoring audit activities
- Assisting Customs Operations experience
- Administration functions experience including presentations, planning, budget, and reports
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Residency in the United States at the time of hire
