Job Summary
Logistics Account Manager responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring day-to-day and long-term needs are met, coordinating with the Implementation team on pricing accuracy, participating in rate reviews and large-spend bids, delivering optimal transportation service solutions, and monitoring market conditions and competitor activity. Requires excellent customer service, communication, analytical and organizational skills; ability to work independently or in a team; experience in transportation/logistics and account management is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Recent college or university degree in Sales & Marketing or Business-related field is required.
- 1-2 years of account management experience in transportation and logistics field would be an asset.
- 3+ years of sales and account management experience in transportation and logistics field is preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills, embraces the concept of both the internal and external customer.
- Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to function independently with little or no supervision as well as function in a team environment.
