Job Summary
Execute and maintain government property accountability in accordance with NAVSUP P-723 and P-485 by processing transactions, generating Line Item Receiving Reports, and performing routine audits. Maintain accurate inventory records using approved systems like CMPRO and CAV-RP while supporting cycle counts, receiving, stowing, and issuing materials. Coordinate material movement, shipments, and deliveries to support project and fleet requirements, tracking status updates and resolving logistics issues with vendors and internal teams. Provide clear status updates to team leads and government stakeholders while ensuring alignment between physical inventory and system records.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a logistics or warehouse role
- Familiarity with financial management principles as they apply to logistics and inventory (e.g., budget tracking, cost analysis for acquisitions)
- Familiarity with providing logistics support for DoW projects involving electronic/electrical repair, installation, and material acquisition
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Navy Electronic Retrograde Management System (ERMS)
- Experience with database management
- Knowledge of property accountability systems
- Excellent organizational skills
- A high degree of attention to detail
- Ability to stand and move throughout a warehouse environment for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, and climb ladders as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarization with NAVY CAV RP and CMPRO
- Experience with NAVSUP P-723 and P485
- Experience supporting DoD or Navy logistics operations
- Prior experience with CMPRO, CAV-RP, NAVY ERP, eRMS, PDREP, and One-Touch systems
- Familiarity with financial tracking related to logistics or material procurement
- Experience supporting electronic/electrical system repair or installation logistics
