Job Summary
Senior Acquisition Logistician to support Army Product Management Office at Ft. Belvoir, VA. Provide senior-level logistics expertise across development, production, delivery, and sustainment of critical Soldier capabilities. Responsibilities include supporting the PM’s Property Book Manager in accountability processes, serving as alternate for meetings, addressing fielding and policy issues from NET/NEF teams, developing and updating training aids and SOPs, monitoring PdM PSRS fielding reports for timeliness, researching and editing military serialized items for Lateral Transfers, training NET/NEF teams on fielding and interface between Army and PdM PSRS systems, and ensuring data integrity within PdM PSRS. Additional duties include supporting fielding events, calculating and ensuring fielding timelines, assisting with Configuration Management Board for PdM PSRS accountability, and providing guidance to Regional Coordinators and Equipping Manager. Qualifying candidates will possess DoD logistics knowledge and strong communication/leadership skills. The role emphasizes risk management, process improvement, and ongoing training to support fielding missions and policy adherence, with up to 25% travel across the Continental US.
Required Qualifications
- Secret clearance required
- High School/GED with >14 years relevant experience OR associate’s degree with >12 years OR bachelor’s degree with >5 years
- Knowledge of Life Cycle Logistics regulations and DoD 5000 series; AR 70-1; AR 700-127; AR 700-142
- Competency in communication, leadership, logistics automated systems, team management, and risk management
