Job Summary
Provide logistics meeting support during test and demonstration planning, maintain training readiness as a logistics support representative, and manage Life-Cycle Logistics Support including component failure tracking and configuration management. Execute load planning and documentation for equipment shipment, coordinate with security personnel for shipping and accountability, and manage Government Furnished Equipment and property. Conduct site surveys to determine service requirements, control inventory by serial number, arrange material handling equipment, and operate test equipment power generation and environmental controls. Maintain close coordination with security personnel to support shipping, receiving, and accountability. This role requires a Secret Clearance, five years of professional experience in Integrated Logistics Support, and the ability to work as a team member. Travel up to 20% is required based on customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or passing score on the General Education Development (GED) exam
- Five (5) years professional experience
- At least three (3) years of experience in providing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
- Experience in Maintenance Planning
- Experience in Supply Chain Management/Support
- Experience in Technical Logistical Data
- Experience in Packaging, Handling Storage and Transportation
- Two (2) years of specialized technical experience in maintaining provisioning and preparation of government documentation within the logistical technical area's purview
- Secret Clearance
- Past performance in supporting DoD related logistics activities and/or field support
- Ability to work as a member of a team with the skills and personality to lead discussions that results in positive desired outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to conduct basic networking and emplacement of military systems upon receiving proper training manuals
- Must be able to travel up to 20% based on customer needs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with managing software and hardware integration and understanding of logistics required for operations
- Project Management or process improvement experience
- Understanding of acquisition management support and documentation for fielding software and systems
- Experience working at military facility locations or field bases
