Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and manage logistics activities in support of government contracts, programs, or agencies. Develop and maintain logistics documentation such as support plans, acquisition logistics documentation, and maintenance planning. Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, policies, and procedures. Analyze and forecast supply needs, manage inventories, and coordinate procurement and distribution of materials. Utilize logistics management information systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, operations, finance, and project management. Track and report on key logistics performance indicators and recommend process improvements. Provide lifecycle logistics support, including provisioning, spare parts analysis, and obsolescence management. Support audits, inspections, and data calls related to logistics operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3–5 years of logistics experience in a government or defense-related environment
- Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other relevant policies
- Proficiency in logistics databases, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a [Secret/Top Secret/etc.] security clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) logistics systems or programs
- Prior military logistics experience (e.g., MOS 92A, 88N, 92Y, or equivalent)
- Certification in logistics or supply chain (e.g., DAWIA Level I/II/III in Life Cycle Logistics, APICS, PMP, or similar)
- Familiarity with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Product Support Manager (PSM) roles
