Logistic Specialist

Job Summary
Coordinate domestic and international shipments of aircraft parts, rotables, and ground support equipment across the network, selecting optimal carriers and routes based on urgency and cost. Validate freight invoices against quotations and contracts, identify billing errors, and actively reduce logistics costs through improved routing and contract utilization. Track shipments from sourcing through delivery, resolve customs issues and documentation gaps, and ensure compliance with import/export regulations. Manage day-to-day coordination with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams while analyzing logistics data to report on spend and savings opportunities. Support routine, urgent, and AOG requirements, improve tracking dashboards and standard operating procedures, and work in a high-pressure environment requiring the ability to climb steps.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience in logistics, transportation, customs, freight forwarding, supply chain, aviation materials, MRO, or a related field
- Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in supply chain, logistics, transportation, international trade, aviation management, business, or a related discipline
- Ability to climb more than 10 steps in a warehouse environment
- Must abstain from consuming Cannabis, in and outside of the workplace
Desired Qualifications
- CCS, CIFFA, CITT, or equivalent certification
- Aviation, airline, aerospace, MRO, aircraft parts, AOG, or time-critical logistics experience
- Experience reviewing freight invoices, validating carrier charges, analyzing logistics costs, and supporting contract or rate optimization
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes, increase shipment visibility, and reduce logistics costs
- Experience with SAP, MRO systems, inventory systems, freight portals, or transportation management systems
