Job Summary
Develop and lead end-to-end logistics solutions to achieve required on-time pick up and delivery of goods for internal and external customers. Manage logistics costs to meet budgets and operational plans while driving optimization in inbound and outbound freight for business cost reduction. Actively support site inbound and outbound logistic VCP projects, serving as the contact window for well management in outbound equipment tools to drive productivity improvements. Manage transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from suppliers, rearranging task sequences based on changing work situations. This role supports GE HealthCare's global medical technology innovation by ensuring reliable supply chain operations and equipment tool management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years of work experience in logistics, material management, warehousing, or supply chain management
- 3 years' of experience working in logistics, materials management, warehousing and distribution, or supply chain management
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Expertise, including Lean Six Sigma process methodology
- Solid communication and analytical skills, including experience with communicating with others from different counties and cultures
- Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within the organization
- Proven ability to execute, multi-task, and deliver on commitments
- Experience working in a compliant supply chain
