Job Summary
Coordinate inbound vanadium and non-vanadium raw material receipts and outbound finished goods shipments, managing domestic, transboundary, and internal deliveries between Cambridge and Zanesville facilities. Interface with Sourcing, Purchasing, Accounting, Operations, and Sales to manage document flow, track shipments, and resolve logistics issues while ensuring inventory accuracy. Lead by example to comply with safety, environmental, and DOT requirements, utilizing Lean principles to drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Experience in fast paced manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in material handling, logistics, inventory control and/or supply chain management
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills (verbal, written, and listening skills)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Collaboration skills
- Team player at all levels of organization
- Adaptability to change
- Strong attention to detail
- Data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principals and mindset of continuous improvement
- Competence in Microsoft systems
- Experience working in ERP system
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required DOT training and certifications applicable to the position
- Ability to complete and maintain all required training in shipping documentation
