Job Summary
Receive samples, unpack coolers, label containers, scan shipping documentation, and perform sample login with a high level of attention to detail. Verify sample preservation, deliver samples to walk-in refrigerators, and assist with sample disposal. Perform basic aseptic techniques, media preparation, pipetting, and bottle kit production. Clean equipment using solvents and detergents according to Standard Operating Procedures. Document all work accurately and perform basic mathematical calculations. Role is 1st shift, 9:30am - 6:00pm, M-F, with additional hours as needed. Pay rate is $17.75/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift 55 lbs routinely and safely
- Must be able to work standing for most of the day
- Basic computer skills
- Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
