Job Summary
Audit compliance of repeat turbine engine inspections and component changes to ensure tracking at correct time intervals. Review and research engine logbooks and related records for repair, overhaul, or servicing of gas turbine engines, components, parts, and accessories. Analyze and prepare engine records, compile information for applicable engines, and verify Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletin compliance. Verify accuracy of engine component hours and cycles, modification status, and database entries. Relay project status, research findings, and discrepancies to team leaders or managers. Maintain control of logbooks under lock and key while complying with FAA safety-sensitive position requirements. Work independently in engine shop environments involving hoists, heavy parts, and chemicals.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to evaluate problems and form solutions
- Proficient in Microsoft word, Excel and various other computer programs
- Must be able to work independently while performing repetitive tasks
- Ability to express or exchange ideas with peers, team leaders and management
- Lift at least 25lbs
Desired Qualifications
- FAA airframes & power plant license (preferred)
