Job Summary
Transport residents safely and timely to and from appointments in a large van, providing friendly, compassionate, and reliable service. Perform daily vehicle cleaning, maintenance, and safety checks, including lights, brakes, tires, and wheelchair lifts. Assist residents into wheelchairs or stretchers, coordinate schedules with the in-office team, and secure necessary appointment paperwork. Adhere to all facility policies, infection control procedures, and state/federal regulations while maintaining resident confidentiality. Report any noncompliance, abuse allegations, or occupational exposures immediately to supervisors or HR. Complete all assigned training and skills competency assessments. Work beyond normal hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Company drivers must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Current valid state issued driver's license.
- Maintain acceptable driving record
- Be able to lift 50 pounds.
- CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to attain upon hire)
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal and customer services skills
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, perform overhead lifting and perform other common physical movements as needed for the position.
- Ability to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
