Job Summary
Serve as the primary resource for General Managers and Chief Engineers on large-scale property maintenance issues, troubleshooting major mechanical, structural, and cosmetic problems while filling in for absent Chief Engineers. Manage special projects including small renovations, mechanical replacements, and emergency repairs, coordinating technical updates with vendors and sites to validate cost savings. Ensure safe equipment operation through staff training, conduct property evaluations, and assist with interviewing and developing facility employees. This role requires 5+ years of hotel maintenance experience, Class C-2 boiler and HVAC certifications, and 75% travel.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of related hotel and/or property maintenance experience
- Class C-2 boiler certification
- HVAC certification
- CPO/ AFO certification
- previous supervisory experience
- working knowledge of MS Office
