Job Summary
Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner for General Surgery in Georgia. Outpatient role in Smyrna with duties spanning General Surgery as primary focus plus opportunities in Orthopedics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Urology, and ENT. Typical schedule Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM with potential weekend rotation. Case volume averages 90–110 per week; occasional cases may run past 5–7 PM. Team in OR includes surgeon, scrub tech, circulating RN, and CRNA. Start date around August 3. EMR is Epic. Location: Smyrna, GA. Travel and malpractice coverage provided by Delta Locum Tenens/Delta Companies.
Required Qualifications
- GA license
- Nurse Practitioner
- General Surgery experience
- Locum Tenens experience or willingness to work as locum tenens
- EMR Epic experience
- Outpatient setting experience
