Job Summary
Locum pediatric hospitalist assignment with 12- and 24-hour shifts (7a-7a, 7a-7p, 7p-7a) in a high-level nursery/NICU III/IV setting. Responsibilities include neonatal coverage backing up neonatologists, with duties such as intubation, CPAP, highflow, and line placement, in a team-focused atmosphere. NRP certification is required. The role involves care for approximately 12-15 babies per day, with paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses. Assignment details and time entry are managed via an online portal; Weatherby Healthcare provides ongoing consultant support. Charter member of NALTO.
