Job Summary
Locums PA opportunity in New York City for cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery. Responsibilities include serving as first assist in cardiac surgery cases, harvesting saphenous vein, managing perioperative and postoperative ICU/step-down care, placing and removing invasive lines, chest tubes, and pacing wires, and rounding on cardiac surgery patients with ongoing assessments. Day shifts 7am–5pm, Monday–Friday with 4 minimum days and 24-hour/weeknight call as assigned. ACLS certification required. Housing and travel provided; licensing and malpractice costs arranged; credentialing/privileging streamlined. Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K. Coverage through year-end; compensation ranges from $105.00 to $138.00 hourly (all-inclusive). Personal recruiter available 24/7.
Required Qualifications
- ACLS certification required
- Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic surgery experience
